In 2015 when I ran the London Marathon in my home of hearts, I though that'd be it. One and done. Then in 2016, when the opportunity to run the New York Marathon for the charity near and dear to me presented itself, I took it. New York was rumored to be a spectacular race, if summer training didn't tank you first, which it nearly did me. But after finishing New York, I knew I'd run one more. After all, 3 is my favorite number. I took a break in 2017 and tried my hand (and feet) at finishing a Triathlon. And now it's 2018. Prague was at the forefront of my mind, I kept meaning to revisit the city I called home for 5 months during my semester abroad. I mulled it over for few months, testing the words out loud to friends. Then I started seeing signs - the kind that perhaps I subconsciously was looking for but which presented themselves to me as serendipity. And lead me to this moment: registered to run Prague May 6, 2018. On the NYTimes "52 Places to Travel in 2018" Prague registers at #40, an obvious sign. So in my year of 3s - I will embark on my 3rd marathon. Read along on my run. Another winter of running in bitter temps. Or better yet, if you've always wanted to see Prague, I know a good reason to visit in May!
